Beautiful Warm Sweet Classic Vintage Hi Fi Speakers - First Class -
These are classic hi fi speakers for serious collectors of vintage audio equipment. If you like a warm, organic realistic sound then these are for you. The mid and high end are amazing and it has a lovely bass end if partnered with the right amplification.
If you like 60's, 70's and 80's rock, prog rock, glam rock or classic pop then the DM70's are what you want. They sound great with everything but modern dance music may need something more precise and beefy. A good example of a band that suits these B&W's is the Beatles.
At the moment I am using a Quad 33 / 303 combo as my Quad 44 on off switch is broken and the bass could be better but they still sound so sweet. Peter Sellers once owned a white pair, so he had taste.
Highly Recommended if you like a vintage "warm" sound from your speakers. They make cd sound a lot better.

Excellent martial arts film featuring the highly talented Tony Jaa
Don't watch this for the plot, its about some stolen elephants however this film has some fantastic fight sequences featuring the wonderful and very gifted Tony Jaa.
The film is worth it for the restaurant fight sequence alone which was filmed in one take using a steadycam.
Jaa faces many enemies and some of the men look like they are built of rock but I'm sure you will really enjoy The Protector and not just watch it once like many dvds.

CANON - Excellent as usual
2 of 2 found this helpful For about 4 years I have had an original Canon Ixus Ai Af which I got off eBay and had done a very good job.I wanted to get something higher up the scale and Canon so I saw the auction for an as new Canon SD800 IS with nothing extra.
The seller came across as a good one and had a genuine reason for no extras.The camera is excellent and very easy to use.The 28mm lens is great for landscapes or cloudscapes and the zoom is very good.I have no instructions (you can download them from the Canon website) but its a very easy camera to understand.I use Picasa and it uploads easily.
The video function is excellent too, maybe not up to my Canon camcorder but it produces very good results even if it is overcast and dull.I got about 100 pics and 20 videos on the 2GB card.
If you are thinking of a camera that doesn't cost DSLR money but is an upgrade from a simpler camera you have I would highly recommend the Canon SD800 IS - its a little beauty!
