Great Tent
1 of 1 found this helpful This is our second Big Agnes tent and second Big House as we also have the Big House 4. We are avid tent campers giving these tents tons of use throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall. We're in our sixties with years of tent camping under our belts and in our lifetime have been through a fair amount of equipment and I can honestly say that I would never bother to look at another tent manufacturer. We use this tent as a base camp for our excursions and it's my home away from home. We went from the 4 to the 6 just for the added room as it's myself, my wife, our 8 year old grandson and our loyal hound so we have plenty of room. The tent coupled with the vestibule is my five star resort, light, easy set up, packs up nice in it's own bag and doesn't take up any room at all in the car. We've had this thing in horrendous weather, rain, wind and have always stayed bone dry.......no problems what so ever. We always set the tent up on a ground cloth and for added protection use yet another tarp on the floor of the tent to save ant wear and tear on the floor. With very little upkeep this tent should last a good long time. I contemplated buying a Kodiak but they are just so big, bulky and heavy to transport I stayed with Big Agnes. If you're really into camping, you should own one !!
