The canner is great and useable even with a broken lid handle!
3 of 3 found this helpful It came with a broken lid handle! Put a temporary wooden handle on it. I am pleased to say the canner worked perfectly. I canned raw chicken! Had to order a replacement handle from the US,at my expense... $25.00 CDN. I am now going to can beef, my mother use to can meat in the 40's and I remember how good it was and I wanted to eat it again, The Presto Pressure Canner allows me that privilege.
