A magician of words meets wizard who paints with pictures.
It's a classic! For those who have never come across this book.
It's definitely a must read. 'The original block buster'.
I first read it in school as part of the ciriculum & I remembered every word producing this fantastic Imagary that I felt drawn towards it even in adulthood.
Although I had never seen any drawings associated with the poem from my poetry text book the illustrator has certainly made the book come alive again. Simply put, it's a fantastic. I wish there was a hard cover version of this available.
