Messes up your mouse sensor
Came with a strong synthetic stench but after washing it's far less noticeable. After a few days I ran into a serious problem: my mouse sensor would randomly jitter and move with stutters or not move at all for 5-10 seconds. But when I switch back and forth between my desk surface and the mousepad the problem would disappear. While it was quiet rare it was extremely annoying, especially in an online game. Just to be clear, my mouse worked perfectly with my previous mousepad. However, my mouse is an old dual-sensor razer taipan, so idk, might be on my end. Quality wise seems good for the price but this problem just ruins everything about this pad.
