2 of 2 found this helpful The Canon P is an old camera, an old design, but it is reliable, user-friendly with robust construction, and has a cachet that newer cameras can't match. Oh, sure, you can get a Leica for thousands more, but this camera, and the Canon lenses, will deliver just as good images at a fraction of the cost. The only downside is the screw-mounted lens, which is a pain to change (when you're used to bayonet type mounts on every other camera you've ever owned).
