Good deal, but initial setup is sloppy.
I am amazed that a bike like this can be pirchased and shipped to your home for so little money. However, after assembly, it was clear that the wheels and brakes came improperly set up, to the point of the wheels being wobbly. As an experienced mechanic it took me an additional 40 minutes to true the wheels and reset the brakes. For most people it will likely require a trip to the shop (getting charged nearly as much as the original price) or an unsatisfying riding experience.

Best knee-saving float pedals, for a great price and competitive weight
The price is amazing, especially when you compare to the much more expensive (XC8, XC12) versions of the same pedal by Time. The weight difference is negligible with the 8, and somewhat more important with the 12, but at 1/3 the price. The mechanism is simple and easy to maintain, and mud poses not issues.
I switched from Speedplay Frogs now that Wahoo bought them and plowed under just about anything to do with high float off-road pedals. My knees do not thrive with SPD-style release pedals, and the Time ATAC pedal platform is superior to what Crank Bros offers with the Eggbeaters (their Candy-like models are clunkier and heavier). I have looked at Time ATACs from a distance for many years and I am glad I took the plunge.
