Amazing replacement!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have had to replace an old CPU E5506 in my DELL Precision T5500 server. One day it just would not boot, the power button was flashing amber, the chassis displayed fault codes 2, 3, 4 and the front fan panel was spinning madly. Having spent several days reading about this rather poorly documented issue I concluded that it was either motherboard or a failed CPU. Luckily it was the latter - see the first screenshot. Honestly, it was the first time I have lost any CPU due to thermal failure, I have been working with various computer sets since early days of Pentium II when CPUs had less power than an average smartphone nowadays.
I use the server mostly for lab testing, network simulations in GNS3 etc, there are always several things running at the same time. The new CPU works flawlessly, even with the factory heatsink. The workload is spread evenly among all six cores, the temperature stays well within recommended range, no crashes or anything that would keep me awake at night. The server now practically runs 24/7. Perfect buy and fantastic value!

Really useful when preparing for technical exams.
Extremely useful to keep notes, draw small charts and tables, especially when only limited space on a desk is available. I can more easily take A5 notebooks with me when travelling by train for further revision. Laminated cover helps to protect the notebook from stains and paper quality is high.

WDR3600 and DD-WRT
Have not tested the original firmware but it works perfectly fine with DD-WRT flash. It allowed me to turn the router into a WLAN 2.4GHz b/g/n access point and a wireless client at 5.0GHz at the same time. Runs on Atheros AR9344 chipset, has a cingle core CPU @ 560MHz, its flash memory is small (only 8MB) but since the router supports USB drives I can use a USB flash drive formatted as FAT32 to use as NAS or ext2 to install additional packages for DD-WRT.
As for the design itself, I really like it: it's small, light, can be mounted on a wall and does not produce any noise or heat.
