Tubular Motor kit was the foundation and starting point of my automated Roller blind project.
1 of 1 found this helpful The tubular motor kit was the foundation of my project, It does exactly what I wanted it to do. All I needed to do to complete the project was two things:
1. Get a 40mm diameter 'roller tube' and the blind material from a local 'Blind shop' to the window size I wanted (2.5 meters long by 1.5 meters drop). The motor kit comes with all the mounting brackets you need
2. For the automated control, I used 12v 'USR-wm1h' (Ebay) (I use my mobile to add on/off time on the USR-wn1h). The 'ON/OFF' output from the 'USR- wm1h' is connected to a 'DC MOTOR REVERSE POLARITY SWITCH DPDT RELAY MODULE 2A 12V (Ebay). The output from the 'Reverse Polarity switch' connects to the Roller motor.
