KY040 Rotary encoder
Used with Raspberry Pi3 running PiHPSDR SDR software, they work fine. These so NOT have a
threaded shaft as I am mounting them on a sub panel. If you want to mount directly on a front
panel then the version with the threaded shaft could be a better choice...

Tester
This Tester works really well - I am impressed!
I notice that the ZIF connector is showing signs that not all the contacts are closing fully!
The make is "TFXTOOL" perhaps this is a spelling mistake for "TEXTOOL" a 3M company
but it could be a fake?
I have a scrap genuine TEXTOOL connector so I will exchange the contacts as the TFXTOOL
contacts seem poor quality and easily bend unlike the contacts on the genuine version.
Apart from this a really great piece of kit - every electronic experimenter should have one...

I cut this lead in half to use to connect to panel mounted sockets. It works fine but I noticed that the connections are NOT screened! just 3 wires.
