Outstanding value
5 of 5 found this helpful Needed a phono stage amp to play my Linn Axis turn table through my Naim Nait 5i. After a bit a research the Domino seemed to tick all the boxes and I wasn’t disappointed. Not much good with hifi jargon but I’ll just.say I’m discovering something new on every album . I love the minimalist solid wood facia with the small LED power indicator may not be everyone’s cup of tea but to me it looks classy and expensive. Highly recommended.

Better than expected
I don’t spend a great deal of time listening to headphones but my new amp doesn’t have a headphone output so I was looking to spend no more than £50. So I wasn’t expecting much but I had a very pleasant surprise, it produced a warm mellow tone with a rich deep bass, the treble is slightly less convincing but never unpleasant.
The wood facia is well made but it benefited from a quick polish and the volume knob wasn’t fitted well but was easily removed and refitted . I was pleased that the valve holders do not have gimmickry coloured LED’s and there is only the subtle glow of the actual valves. I might spend a little more time listening to music on my headphones from now on.
