If only everybody would take heed to the facts set out in this book, and avoid its errors
A most compelling and revealing book, showing the interventions of God on behalf of our nation over many centuries, and our nation's extreme ungrateful wickedness since World War II, from Queen Elizabeth II downwards, in turning our backs on Him.
My major reservation is that I believe that John Owen, John Newton, John Bunyan, George Whitefield, Charles Wesley and others preached the Truth of God, whereas John Wesley, Sankey and Moody, Billy Graham and others contradicted it: the author of this book lumps them all together as though they all preached the Truth. How we need to be clear about what the Holy Bible teaches about God's way of saving sinners. "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:13-14). I fear "The Trumpet Sounds for Britain" may leave many mistaking the broad way for the narrow way.
