Scalextric Ginetta G60-LT-P1 Out of the box review.
Ok, so this is for the Scalextric Ginetta G60 No.14 in white and orange livery. Most of the first part of this type of review ism useless, just because these days the packaging is very good as standard, with the normal one screw keeping the car to the base. so on with what the car is like and I must admit right off I liked the looks for the Ginetta, but I did have to look it up to make sure it was a real car and not pretend or made up car and it is which is good. The logos are all crisp again as you would expect these days, and so to the important part, how does it handle right out of the box, and it did take a few laps to settle down. The rule of thumb is that most of our cars here at WillowBrook Racing do between 04 and 05 second laps which will take them into the points, anything outside of the 05 second lap time and really your hoping that other will drop points, so the Ginetta best time was 4479 so a reasonable time on a cold track. Because our season has ended for the 2019 season this car won't actually race until 2020 when pat the moment it is expected to be middle of the league table. A little bit of work will be done to this car in the new season but only very minor such as strung the tyres and a little bit of oil. It handled well around the bends and stayed on the track very well. If your new to slot racing then this is a good car to have or even to start your slot car story, it looks great, sticks to the track, right out of the box, and won't disappoint. Now in two different livery's both will I know make there way to WillowBrook before the new season. Why only four stars, this is just because I thought the lights could be a little bit brighter and it did take a few laps to get going.
Thank you for reading.

Here at WillowBrook Racing we race almost every manufacturer of slot cars you can name with only one or two that haven’t made it onto our racing lists as yet. We do have a large number of Fly slot cars. The Doran model however is a little bit different to almost all other Fly models in that the motor is placed more at the back of the car, this can be a good thing in it gives the car extra traction the more weight at the back, however this can then compromise the front guide paddle leaving it jump out of the slot. We have only done a few test laps using this car and although it’s by no means the quickest, it’s no slouch. The bad news like all Fly cars it doesn’t come with lights and I don’t understand why they continue to make a 24 hour car without lights. But really that’s my only gripe. The car itself is a good colour the detail as always with Fly is very good, tyres are rubber compound and soft, the motor is an inline motor mount, and it’s fast. All in all a good racing car that I would say is more for the experienced racer rather than children and inexperienced drivers. But very good right out of the box. Quite impressed with this car so we have bought another one. Our season is only just starting so maybe a better time to tell how good these cars are is to come back at the end of the season.

I work from home and I was fed up of sitting on a kitchen chair, so looking around I found this one. It came within three days from ordering. It was easy to put together everything you need is included. Including directions. Oh my own it took around an hour, but I was in no rush and took my time. This is a very nice comfortable chair. I would recommend this chair to anyone.
