Interesting, Intriguing.
The author writes, not for experts but for ordinary intelligent people. He seems to be sincere and to be writing about a subject which he is thoroughly familiar to him. I found the book (both volumes) to be easy to read, happily compelling, enlightening and not morbid. Thank you Mr. Leadbeater.

Relevant to everyone.
The book is written in style which is suitable for any person of near average ability to understand and it sustains the readers interest. Some previous reading of the basics of Theosophy would definitely be helpful but even as a first-time contact with the subject it would not daunt one who made an effort and tried to learn. Of course, one’s gains are likely to be proportionate to one’s efforts and sincerity.

The ‘ring’ of sincerity.
Much of what Mr. Leadbeater writes in this book seems strange, even bizarre but the entire work has a ‘ring’ of sincerity and it is thought provoking.
