Aside from almost immediate delivery, which is down to the promptness of the seller, the razor itself was really carefully packaged for transport. These razors have a delicate gold wash and the razor itself was carefully wrapped in tissue paper to prevent scratching/wear during travel. As a collector, this extra effort was very much appreciated. Thank you so much!

Progress?
A brilliant book written over a century ago which left me with the feeling that although we think we're progressing we're not and things were made better and worked better in the good old days. Great book for the straight razor enthusiast.

Lovely Razor!
1 of 1 found this helpful Nice razor and finish... got the nickel version... not perfect but great for the price... i have big hands but prefer smaller handles... this is solid brass and feels nicely balanced with just enough heft.. i read a lot about the aggresive nature of this head and was looking forward to trying it... you can definitely feel the blade but it shaves so smoothly when you have your technique down it was a joy to use... using straight razors teaches you a lot about the feel of the blade on your face... when i don't have time i like an efficient de razor... this one plus the Muhle R41 and especially the PAA Bakelite slant all fit the bill nicely.
This is money well spent if you like to concentrate while wacking your whiskers.

Lovely razor!
This was my first stainless steel cut throat razor purchase. My only concern was honing a stainless blade but it was lovely to hone and even better to shave with. Anyone who is worried about the difference between honing a stainless v carbon steel blade need not worry there really isn't that much difference. Recommended.
