Midland 75-822 Portable Handheld CB Radio Home Adapter AC DC NOAA Hazard Weather

Lightweight with good features, ideally suited to my needs

This radio meets my specfic requirments for a portable and mobile radio. It can be used in a vehicle or when on foot. I have yet to test the range but will be doing this shortly. I've purchased an external antenna for the car and anticipate this to increase distance. I like the fact that the radio also can be powered using multiple methods. The snap on battery packs allow it to go portable while the car adaptor allows it to be run directly from a cigarette lighter, or another source of 12V DC. This feature alone makes it very versitile.
