fruit cake is comfort food for some people
in this stress rampant time I needed something that always makes me feel happy so I looked to see if I could find Claxton off-season and there it was. it is helping me stay sane. thank you Claxton! i love you!

heartwarming and inspiring
the stories of the adventures and harsh realities of James and his devoted companion Bob's (the orange cat he rescued) life on the streets of London are heartwarming and inspiring. James and Bob truly are a most remarkable pair of kindred souls who take loving care of each other. i believe i've now collected all the books by James Bowen about his friend Bob, and reading them (again and again) are a great tonic for MY soul. Bob's an extraordinary cat. i wish i could meet him and James one day. meanwhile i admire him and James from afar in these beautiful, amazing stories.
