Good story-telling.
Very enjoyable film. Familiar story, of course, but with some twists that are not in the classic version. I like the original music.

Expensive because rare.
The light show makes this the most interesting of the series. The music is from the Original Cast Recording, a bit tinny, it's not a hi-fi product. But well-chosen to match the emotional ending to the show.

Enrichment for fans of Richard III.
Before the skeleton of Richard III was discovered, there was much debate about whether he could really have been a hunchback, or if that was an invention of Shakespeare. The argument was that Richard was a warrior king who wore armour and led his men in battle, and a hunchback couldn't have done that. Then his bones were discovered and identified by DNA. That's only briefly described in this video (see "The King in the Car Park" for the whole story). But now it was known that he really had a crooked back, the condition scoliosis. For this film, a young man was found who had virtually the same degree of deformity. He went through a period of intensive training in sword-fighting, armour-wearing and riding. The degree to which he succeeded makes a film I found fascinating. Having seen it once on TV, I enjoyed it enough to want to have my own copy.
