EXCELLENT phone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I purchased this phone in Summer 2024. It is absolutely brilliant. Why? It comes with almost stock Android and whilst that might not seem like a big deal, to not have memory taken up by useless Apps that you didn't install and, more importanly, can't uninstall, is marvellous. The phone itself works smoothly and the screen is bright and clear. The on/off switch is on the right and volume buttons on the left, which has taken a bit of getting used to as my previous phone had all the buttons on the same side. All volumes are clear and phone and video calls are clear and smooth. The only thing that you need to bear in mind is that as other reviewers have pointed out, the phone is extremely slippy: putting a case onto it sorts this out but using a case is, in my view, an absolute must. I'd also add a tempered glass screen protector. Make sure that the protector you buy fits inside the case you put on as the first one I purchased was slightly too long and my case cracked it! Of course, there is the glyph (light) interface but to be honest, I don't use it. But, it does work and is useful if you need to see notices but want to turn the phone over to avoid distractions. The screen is always on so even though it goes black, the finger print sensor is lit up for a bit and works immediately when pressed. The phone does not have a high water-proof rating, which is worth bearing in mind. I accidentally got water in mine and it was a nervous twenty mintues or so to see if it would dry out, which thankfully, it did. The phone has bedtime mode, when everything turns grey and becomes less attractive for use and notifications are hidden. It's amazing the difference that a monochrome screen makes! Most icons that come pre-installed are black and white, which is great; it's just a shame that the other icons that you download (ie Google Chrome, for instance) remain in colour. To have everything in black and white would be amazing. Camera is good and takes nice photos and the same is true of video. it's not the best camera on a phone by any means, but it's perfectly adequate. All in all, this phone does EXACTLY what I need it to do and the 256GB model has enough storage to keep me going for a while. The fact that this phone has kept its value and, indeed, is still selling for a high price (even second hand) is a testament to the fact that people are finding out what a good phone this is and want to buy it. I thoroughly recommend this to you if you want a phone that does what it needs to do AND comes with near-stock Android. Excllent phone. Great seller, too: 5 stars!!! Thank you so much!

Excellent version of the game
Our child played Risk - this exact version - whilst in Canada visiting relatives. She is a very strategic thinker and loved the game and has been asking for it for Christmas. My husband was destermined to find the same version and this is it! The actual game we purchased is hidden for Christmas, so I can't comment on this exact purchase. However, this version of the game is BRILLIANT, according to both of them and we are so happy to have found this version for sale. My husband says what makes this version so great are the pieces, which I believe are wooden and different shapes, compared to the modern versions of the game, which I believe are plastic. Thank you so much and thank you for wrapping the game so well for postage.

Excellent Vacuum Cleaner But Not For Everyone
Pros:
Lifts dirt really well. The suction really grips the carpet and pulls the vacuum forwards. Two-way cleaning is an excellent invention and I wonder why no-one has thought of this before. The anti-hair wrap technology actually works! Quite a quiet vacuum cleaner. The side and front detect work very well as does detecting which floor surface you are cleaning, which can also be over-ridden manually. The buttons are clear and on the handle. The machine makes a cute noise when it is switched on and if left upright, reduces it's power usage until put back into action. It feels like a well-built machine that will last. Easy to manoeuvre. Emptying the bin is one click and it releases immediately and fully. The power cable is long and it is easy to vacuum a large area without having to change plug socket. Has powered lift-away. Comes with two attachments - crevice tool and small brush. Deals easily with cat hair as well as human hair.
Cons:
It is a big machine compared to a stick vacuum. It's not as manoeuvrable as a stick vacuum cleaner, especially the equivalent model, which has a bendable stick so you can vacuum under furniture. It is heavy compared to a stick cleaner. If you are elderly or infirm, the stick cleaner is probably the better buy for you. This machine is a work-out! The handle is quite tall when upright but is fine once the cleaner is in use. Unfortunately, the underside of the handle is textured and towards the end of vacuuming, it felt like a blister was forming on my finger! I don't understand why the handle is not smooth. The power cable is quite sturdy but unlike other reviewers, I do not see this as a problem. No pet brush, which I believe can be bought separately?
Overall, I recommend this machine if you want something that really does do the job for which it is designed AND which feels like it will last a long time. It's a one year guarantee with being refurbished (and yes, there were a few minor scuffs and scratches) but new, it's a five-year guarantee, so I'm hoping for at least five years and hopefully, a lot longer. It was well-packaged in a large, plain box and delivered three days early!!! But, if you have any physical issue that means using a heavy machine would be difficult, the corded stick version is probably more suitable. As I said, it also pulls itself along, a bit like a petrol lawn mower; again, this for me, is a benefit and I like it but not everyone will and not everyone will be able to operate this type of machine, so worth bearing that it mind.
Overall, I LOVE this machine and I only wish I'd bought it sooner!!! Thank you, Shark and thank you for having a refurbished site which allowed me to buy this machine at a price I could afford.
