The item is lightweight but has features consistent with a mortice/marking gauge
The head is a little sticky on the shaft but that should get easier with use, overall this is a fairly good quality gauge and represents good value for money considering the competition from other makes.

Good quality, low price
Good quality, heavy duty set of wheels, two with locks, wheels look to be very robust and should last a long time, it's very hard to fault these wheels at this price, no idea how they do them for the money.

A gritty and factual account, no frills.
I recall watching this series as a boy when it was released in the early 60's and wanted to rewatch it as an adult. It is without doubt the best documentary of the "war to end all wars" which saw the flower of early 20th century manhood taken to near annihilation for the most pathetic of reasons.
This series is not to be missed if you want to know about WW1.
