Not your average

Fun to read. I probably won't try most of these recipes, but I love the exuberance of Patterson's writing. Also learning a lot about food history. A comfort to dip into. I was also pleased my copy was less than a fiver when I kept seeing it advertised elsewhere for silly amounts.

Really useful

Really lovely grater. Takes a few seconds to grate cheese and carrots. If you struggle with grip or if you get impatient, this is a good product. Very easy to make slaw. You can slice, fine grate or coarse grate, with the three sets of blades. I've only had it for a couple of weeks so I don't know how long it will last but all good so far!
