STILL AMAZING IN 2019!
1 of 1 found this helpful This camera has been out for over 6 years, and I was still excited to finally acquire one. After using an M8 for years, this camera was a huge step up. I love the extra resolution (over double-10mp vs 24mp) I love the live view mode and the separately sold electronic viewfinder (EVF 2). The video this camera puts out isn’t the best compared to today’s 4K Sony A7 series footage, but it’s still beautiful with Leica lenses, and usable in a pinch if the final video is something that will be viewed on a small screen like a phone/Instagram. It doesn’t have WiFi, but I use a WiFi sd card and can transfer files to my phone on the fly like with modern cameras. I love this camera, it has a nice weight to it, it physically attracts people’s curiosity with its beauty, and most importantly it makes beautiful images.

Amazing Entry to Leica M Digital
An amazing was to get into Leica M digital! This was my first Leica M digital, and the only drawback is it doesn't do too well in low light. It has an ability to go to ISO3200, but everything above 800 is pretty grainy.
