Great starter Smartphone
8 of 8 found this helpful This is my first Smartphone so I'm not sure if I'm qualified to comment or not,however here are a few thoughts.
My previous phone was a Samsung D600 so this is like a quantum leap in technology for me so nearly everthing's good about it at the moment.I,m finding the phone fairly easy to use most of the actions are intuitive in some respects and there is a downloadable manual if required.The voice application is a tremendous help with lomg text messages and you can also use this to search the internet,this comes with the phone by the way.The camera is adequate for my purposes, no flash does seem odd as my old D600 had one,but it does do loads of other things.The screens can be a touch sensitive on occasions but on balance thats a minor problem.
There are one or two detractions which I find are,not much space in the phone memory[mines already full and although mine came with a 2gb card not sure how to transfer apps,etc across],perhaps this leads on to lack of a manual as well.I know its on line but its far easier to thumb through at your leisure than reading on screen[its 126 pages by the way so think twice before printing].The battery does run out rather quickly if you leave on all the functions like the GPS and Wi-Fi but thats your choice of course.
On balance and taking into consideration the price this product is extremely good value for money,[a better phone and 24 month contract would probably set you back 5 times this price] I'm hoping mine will keep me interested for some time to come before I need an upgrade.
