Eat yer heart out Pete!
2 of 2 found this helpful Just kidding there, but seriously, this thing's more than just a toy, it allows one to exude Frampton-esque sounds, and all manor of Joe Walsh-ey Pink Floyd-ey type stuff too! Stick a phase shifter or a Leslie emulation pedal in between the mic and amp, and you got '70's bliss! Wholeheartedly recommend this for any and all Frampton fans! Rock the Hell on!!

For the price, EXCELLENT guitars!
While these "Standard" Epiphone Les Paul guitars, for the price point, can't be beat, this isn't what I purchased. I got a 2004/5 ELITIST Les Paul, which was made in Japan, and are no longer available through Epiphone/Gibson. Mine was bought as used, and having owned Gibson Les Pauls in the past, for the price I paid, is actually BETTER than either of the 2 Gibson Les Pauls I owned previously. Having also owned 2 Epiphone "regular" Les Pauls, one made in Korea, and the other in China, both were excellent guitars, that needed nothing except better strings, and to be played is all. I wholeheartedly recommend these guitars for the beginner, as well as gigging musician, they're great guitars!
