1 of 1 found this helpful My Peugeot Expert has covered 278,000 miles. It would shake on starting and continue to do so for at least fifteen minutes. The only way to alleviate this was to increase the tick over with your foot on the accelerator until the fuel leakage from the injector burnt away. Injector failure or overnight leakage was diagnosed.
After the first application of Archoil the vibration reduced markedly and the fuel economy improved by 2-3 miles per gallon. Six thousand miles later I put another Arch Oil in and the vibration stopped completely.
Iβm now getting 32/33 mpg out of an engine that has done nearly 300,000 miles!

Essential for the conscious motorist
