The Best Filter
I have tried numerous brands of water filter over the years for my Samsung refrigerator and of all brands used, this is the best. There is absolutely no chlorine taste and no calcium and lime floating in my water. Everyone in the house has remarked how great our water tastes after I installed this water specialist filter. I also like that it uses coconut shells as it's filter medium. I will forever only use this brand in the future. And the price is really nice as well.

Constant leaks/Now dieing
2 of 2 found this helpful I upgraded to this from a cartridge filter and have had this for 2 weeks. While it does a great job filtering and pumps more per hour I have had so many issues with leaks. First it
was where the hoses connect to the filter, even using the clamps and hose included. I ended up having to coat the inlet and outlets with silicon 3 times to get them from leaking. Next I noticed a leak around the drain plug on the pump. I tried Teflon tape and silicone but still leaks. Then I tried to tighten the plug slightly and it broke since is cheap plastic. Now had to order another one. I'm still not too sure it isn't leaking out the bottom of the pump but am afraid to try and turning it over as that will probably make the hoses leak again. Anyone that buys this needs to make sure and have a supply of silicone on hand.
6/29/16 Update to previous review:
It's been a month fighting the constant leaks and now it keeps flipping the circuit breaker. After looking it I discovered that it is leaking pool water into the motor due to the poor gasket and causing it to squeal and making the breaker pop. This pump motor is always covered appropriately so isn't getting rain into it. I do not recommend this pump unless you want to replace it again within a short time. For now will have to go back to my less powerful cartridge pump until I can get a new reliable sand filter pump.

Better then Genuine Samsung
I used to buy Genuine Samsung filters but got tired of paying over $30 each. I got the Bristi filter this time mainly due to being half the price and I am glad I did. The water tastes way better with this filter than with the Samsung ones. Will buy this one again next time.
