X-Fi Gamer is a great card!

I was using my built in soundcard for games and was perfectly happy. Then i started noticing little glitches in the sound and game play (big explosions, etc etc) and thought hey perhaps i should upgrade to a better card. I read some reviews and selected the Creative Gamer x-fi card as my budget was low. I am very glad i did!!! The game does not glitch any more... big explosions do not affect the game or frame rate... This card actually improves my game experience. I would recommend this card to anyone who likes there games to be heard and seen the way they were meant to be! Matt

splits headphone and mic but...

It splits the headphone and mic but i have a control on my in ear Sennheiser and for some reason the MIC lead links back to the control function rather than the MIC so MIC does not work. Could be a Left/right thing but it doesn't work in my case. Using a PC and Momentum in-ear.
