Amazing piece of kit
After having owned some very expensive and upmarket hifi gear this little system is a breath of fresh air. Amazingly spacious tuneful and harmonic sound not the usual flat lifeless sound you normally get at this price range. Even the tape player is clear and mercifully free of the wow and flutter cheap decks normally have. The remote control is well laid out and no nonsense. The speakers are way better than you would expect. The sound is room filling and very 3d with a good sense of detail depth and ambience.the bass is surprisingly good for such small boxes and just goes to show what can be done with 18w rms per channel. It looks utterly lovely as well. Only gripe is the display on the cd/tuner/amp tends to fade with age and finding one that hasnt is almost impossible. Verdict; Solid engineering fab sound and looks and every feature you could want. Steer clear of sub/sat speaker version as speakers sound horrible
