Absorbing and Fascinating
Covers everything you could want to know about the Equity Courts such as the Court of Chancery and the Court of the Exchequer. Well written with excellent examples and compelling reading. It really brings the subject alive and is fascinating for both family history and social history.

A Little Gem for Any Genelogist
A brilliant book. Definitely a must for any serious family historian, or anyone interested in social history or history from 1600 to the early 1800s in general.
Clearly written with clear reference for where to find further info on various subjects. Useful appendixes and helpful bibliography at the end.
I love it.
