Brilliant for the money.
Yeah, it's not a King of Tone, or Royal Deluxe or Thorpy Peacekeeper. But you know what, for the money this little orange box is a cracking overdrive. Get's a bit fizzy if you hammer the gain and level but, if you're pushing that hard I'm not sure you want this pedal.
Works really well into a clean amp with the level cranked for headroom and the drive added to taste and into a dirty channel with the level down and the drive adding a thickness. I'm guessing it could even be used as a boost.
EQ is reasonable while not outstanding (but for the price, what do you expect. I was impressed it did anything at all).
All in all, a cracking bargain and making me look at other Caline pedals. Will be on my board until I get to the top of the King of Tone list middle of next year
