Accurate refractometer for a low price
Great refractometer for less than 1/3 of the price of similar units sold at beermaking supply stores. It only shows Brix, but conversion to specific gravity is simple (multiply Brix by 4 to get "gravity points"). I tested the device on a sugar solution and the specific gravity calculated from the Brix reading was almost exactly the same as what I measured with a hydrometer. And it only uses a few drops of liquid, while the hydrometer needs about 4 ounces. I also like the fact that there's a focus knob, so I can see the reading without wearing glasses.

The Microsoft 1558 key pad is worthless ...
The Microsoft 1558 key pad is worthless by itself. It does not pair to a Windows computer. It only pairs with a certain Microsoft keyboard. If youโre just looking for a keypad, as I was, move along and look elsewhere.
