Not sure about these plates
10 of 39 found this helpful I've seen some youtube videos on the plates and green tips zipped right through them. They're supposed to be rated for 5.56 but green tips are steel core so... idk if other ar500 plates will stop them. But what I don't like about them is the Spall coating it just a thin layer. I've seen some where the coating on the front is as thick as the steel part of the plate making them twice as thick as these plates. One shot on these plates and the coating is gone and the next hit on these plates and you're getting spalling in your face. But for the price I guess they're ok and theyll shield your vitals from pistol fire.
