A great return to form for John Martyn’s posthumous LP, good songs and nice production. He will be missed.

An enjoyable romp through some obscure folk
An enjoyable romp through some obscure and not so obscure, underground psychedelic folk music of the late 60s/early 70s. I picked this up because of the tracks I did know (Pentangle/Duncan Browne/Incredible Stringband/Fairport, etc.) as well as artists I’d heard of but didn’t know. If you also like the those bands, you’ll probably enjoy most, if not all on offer here. Although there are a couple of stinkers the majority are worth a listen and with the extensive sleeve notes, worth further investigation. A portrait of an innocent age with some interesting ideas!

Great sleeve, poor sound
This has a great cover but the recording of the concert is very poor. One to avoid. Stick to Neil Youngs own performance series, which are all brilliant, rather than recordings like this.
