A good book but......
This is one of the better InDesign "tutorial in a book and DVD" type of publication. The DVD within was made with a prerelease version of Indesign and the files do not load. The publisher has made useable files available as a free download so you will need a broadband connection to use the book with the tutorial files. The download is about 185MB.

A good carry around camera for 'spur of the moment' snaps.
Like all Nikon products, you pay a premium for quality bu Nikon is worth it. That said, this is quite an old model and for twentyish quid you have a bargain.
I bought this as a "chuck in the pocket" camera for when the SLR is too much hassle. It does this role well and give great images.
On the downside is relatively bulky and you'd be best with rechargeable batteries always ready to go. There's no viewfinder - only the screen but this is common with this level of camera.
Again, common with this level of camera, the ISO doesn't go very high so darker pics will be speckled.
