The size of these items is so much better than a regular sized one for area to hone on, allowing the use of a honing guide space. The base, stops it shifting around while you work. I would thoroughly recommend these diamond plates. I have purchase from this seller directly before, they are reliable.

Small form for small hands.
Not as powerful(720w) as my other grinder (840w) but it brand new in a box amd registered with Makita for an extended 3 year warranty.
