A modern classic realised for the screen

We just discovered this gem of a book, and wanted to see the film too. It was brilliantly transferred to the screen by Pat O;Connor. The DVD and BlueRay combo works well, and the extra material was really worth watching, particularly the director's description of how he, the production team and the cast went about it. So 5 stars from us.
