Bit disappointing.
You really can't expect much for such a low price but this little gadget is rather disappointing. There are no instructions. The trimmer arrived in a Jiffy bag with two little plastic blocks but no idea what they're for. Unit seems very underpowered but this may be the battery supplied with it. Tried tidying my ears but the strangely angled shape did not seem ergonomic and the motor revs dropped to the point where it seemed to be stalling. Product just over the threshold for returning but can't really see me using it again. Might be worth spending a little more and buying one from a better-known brand.

Good little saw.
I am an experienced professional chainsaw user, now retired. Honestly can't see how they can produce and market such a useful little saw for the price. Easy to assemble and starts well from cold as long as you follow the instructions. I've used it to reduce the height of a couple of tall hedges and small trees as well as cutting firewood for the woodburner and for restoring some neglected coppice. The saw works well although you need to check the chain tension regularly as it appears the chain is prone to coming loose. Sharpening file isn't worth using but you can buy a really good quality replacement one for under £2 at any good hire shop or garden machinery dealer (also available on eBay!). Don't expect Stihl or Husqvarna build quality but a perfectly functional saw and comes with a two year warranty. Fine for the occasional user or as a back up saw for a professional. Would I buy it again? Yes. Recommend to a friend? Yes, but better suited to someone with chainsaw experience or training. Only use it if you are competent, chainsaws can be dangerous. Use appropriate hearing/eye protection and safety clothing. Only thing stopping me giving it five stars was the fact that the seller dropped the price significantly just after I bought mine. Just my luck!

Simple robust product. Works well.
Easy to review. The product does exactly what it is designed to do. Simply knock it into a stump or large log and it will hold the chainsaw bar steady whilst you sharpen the chain. When you've finished just tap it on the side and the legs will come free again. Can be used with any size of bar. Simply made and 100% functional. Robust, should last for years. Good value for money. Make sure you use the right size file and wear gloves to protect your hands.
