Die cast not sure.. But overall okay
The cars are good but don't think they are like the real ones.. They are bit lighter and feels a bit plasticky.. However it still works well with toddler and he/she would not notice at all..

Good product but bad instruction manual
Pros:
We got the black side board and it looks nice when installed. It has got Blue LED lights, which is optional for installing. I have clamped mine to the wall so it is strurdy. You can also keep as free standing without having to drill as well. So far it has been good. Does not look cheap.
Cons:
Instruction manual is poor. I got someone to build it and it took 2 ppl appox 3 hours to build.
