Setup Instructions for Chirp are just wrong.
1 of 1 found this helpful The instructions on how to setup the FT-65R need to be re-written. The Yaesu software for PC connection does not work.
The instructions for connecting Chirp to the FT-65R are incorrect. If you follow the instructions from DanPlanet you will not succeed. He does not know how to put the FT-65R into cloning mode.
I think the radio is probably great. Reception is clear and the speaker is good. But it is of limited value to me if I cannot program it for emergency use.
