A waste of money
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the second one of these I have bought, the first one lasted a while but then the cast arm broke off. Thinking this was my fault I have just purchased another and on the 2nd time of use one of the rubbers broke. They say you get what you pay for and this was very cheap and very cheaply made. Save up and buy a decent one.

0 of 1 found this helpful Luckily for me I have a large domestic off grid solar system and only use this for trickle charging the battery bank at night. It produces nothing like the specified output even in a gale. I previously had a 500 watt turbine but removed it because of the load noise it produced, this one is quieter and acceptable to my close neighbours. If you want to produce a useable amount of electricity, spend your money on solar panels.
