STRANGE MAGIC (Animated movie) DVD - UK Region 2 Compatible - sealed

Lucasarts most hidden gem

Really one of the highest detailed animations ever made & showing off Lucasarts amazing skills. A bit weird that it never got a Blu Ray release but i can confirm the double layers dvd i got is amazingly looking. Perhaps it didnt do too well at the cinema so that is why they didnt do a worldwide release either. Did think of importing a US copy but the import taxes would have been a real killer & the region code would have been wrong (well i do have a region free player, but you never know). The dvd i recieved is quite clearly a russian import dvd that supports region 2, 4 and 5. Dont worry russian subtitles arnt hardcoded and its the original english/us singing voices/audio. Quite importent as the not only is the plot a fairly oldfashioned lovestory-ish it also has the characters sing all the time so its a bit like watching a live musical & it has some really well know modern music too. Perhaps that is also why the the movie hasnt done so well .. as musical's is kinda old-school & not the "in" thing with younger generations today. The movie is quite kids friend thou, no worries there. Clearly this movie isnt for everyone, but for the animation fans, open hearted or outright bleeding romantic's out there, you better get yourself a box of tissues & watch this movie. Like right now!
