Give it a MISS
1 of 1 found this helpful MASSIVELY disappointed in this converter. When used on my D800e with a 70-200 2.8 the reduction in all round quality of the pictures was in my opinion unacceptable. What you gain in range you loose in picture quality 10 fold. As the light quality goes down the images get even worse, to the point that they are unusable for anything. I have been told the 1.7 is a much better choice
