2 of 2 found this helpful Well, the unit is fine. Unfortunately my stealer charged me $100 plus tax to program it. Oh I did get a free car wash at no additional cost to me and a free coffee too.

All I needed was the dongle cord.
Was well worth the price as compared to an Audi S8 price. It is also a great value if your rubber gasket drys out leaks and causes a engine light to glow. Bought one before just for that purpose. Could probably buy four or five more and still be ahead of the game.

3 of 3 found this helpful Have multiple vehicles and already had one of these. The range is ridiculous. You think it might be a false alarm which I can't remember having for the longest time and finally, there's the man (keeping the roads safe I might add). This is a radar detector not a ticket detector (one that goes off when the police officer is standing at your door asking for your paperwork). As I said I already had one but, my Audi has red dash lights and looks like you're in the space shuttle at night. Looking at the blue display drove me nuts! In any event, I purchased the same one with a red display and can keep it in the car now as the blue display one can move around to other cars and my motorcycle.
