Check your size requirements, unsuitable for big heads!
It's a beautiful hat and well made and I just wish it would fit me. The one size fits all is an issue as it simply didn't fit me and my own head is only 7 1/4 inches; just a bit above average European. The hat is made in China. So my suggestion would be, if you have a larger head to look for one with the adjustable strap at the back. If you're smaller stature this would be a great buy. The sizing is my only issue with it. I ended up giving it to one of the kids - reluctantly!

Good buy
Easy to fit but bearing in mind the brackets are left and right handed might save you a head scratch.

not for me
This is cullet, or off-cuts of glass most would people consider waste way before they thought of selling it. Whilst the smaller square pieces can be used in small designs others are unworkable at all, meaning they cannot be cut or shaped as they are but slivers or fragments. (ofeten with straight edges on one side and a curve from the outside of a circle on the other. Unless you're making sailboats it's more or less trash glass). It is also varying thicknesses so you can try and assemble something only to find you can't sheet over it as some is 1mm higher than the rest and will create an uneven finish. To be fair I was offered a refund but for the few pounds involved, I couldn't be bothered to queue in the post office. There are better deals out there, It's worth having a good look around before you order.
