Does good job with just minor shortcomings

Easy enough to set up and use - I generally like TP-Link kit. Replaced 5yr old TP-Link TL-WA701N. LEDs are less intrusive (steady blue) than permanently flashing ones on WA701 and can be turned off altogether. Set as DHCP server but I've loaded beta firmware to stop it repeatedly sending DHCP requests. Still find occasional need to toggle server off and on again. Disabling one device in MAC filter page temporarily disconnects all other connected devices but I don't know if this usual for access points. (They reconnect automatically OK though). Would be nice to have proper release of fixed f/w and to be able to disconnect a device from wireless stats page.

compact, lightweight, easy to use

might not withstand serious attack but perfectly ok for domestic use or most hostels etc. Plastic "string" connecting the 2 pieces is a bit feeble but it's hardly essential and not relevant when the lock is actually in use. If you want to ensure the 2 bits don't get separated when not in use, ordinary string would do at least as well
