Not New - But Worth it for the Price
2 of 2 found this helpful The packaging was somewhat lackluster, everything was bubble wrapped, but thrown into a very large box. Lots of empty space caused some serious damage to the box during shipment. Luckily, the contents were all fine.
The seat, back, and armrests were preassembled together, while the base/wheels and then the gas cylinder were wrapped separately. The gas cylinder was heavily bubble wrap (probably because it could do some serious damage while being shaken around otherwise. There were some minor cosmetic imperfections. Some scratches and smudges on the text on some parts of the chair. The fabric seems to be in relatively new condition. I do already notice the fabric of the backrest does not stay taut after getting up. All knobs/levers work perfectly though.
Overall, if you want a brand new in box chair, this is probably not it. If you're looking for a refurbished product at a relatively good, refurbished price, this is definitely worth a look. You can get better warranties for refurbished office chairs elsewhere, but you're also going to be paying more for that.
