Great working doorbell cam with just the right features.
3 of 3 found this helpful A lot of people seem to have problems with the Simplisafe doorbell. It does take some effort to get all doorbell cams working. With this one, make sure you have a mechanical doorbell. If you replace an electronic one, be sure to remove the diodes from the doorbell buttons. I had to replace the transformer, but it was 15 years old.
Anyway, the Siplisafe doorbell connected easily after that and works perfectly. The picture quality and wide angle view is perfect. Motion detection works great. I highly recommend it if you have a Simplisafe system.
