Negatively Stereotypes Southerners and Republicans

The author used her craft to criticize those of us with a proud southern heritage and who are conservative in nature. This content was offensive and insulting to this reader. Otherwise it was a pretty good and imaginative novel.

Richard Matheson was a front runner of modern psychological thriller, horror and science fiction often all rolled into one book. A Stir of Echoes is one such book. In a few words his works will evoke a heart pounding sense of dread, wonder and humanity in the midst of a paranormal situation. Highly recommend this read!
