My most favorite again!
1 of 1 found this helpful I got my first pair of these when I was a teenager back in 1985. They were soo much better than just about everything else I tried in the store; back then we had Hi-Fi specialty stores, you could listen to all the different headphones they had until you found the thing you wanted. I tried almost all of them and kept going back to these until I was able to buy them with about 2 weeks of my saved up summer job money (remember this was year 1985.) Since then, I have had many different pairs of headphones, I still have the audiophile bug and own 3 different examples of the $300.00 or so noise canceling jobbers. The Bose, Able Planet and Monster headphones I have are all top choice products. if you are traveling on a plane they are great but they never satisfied me when I was on the ground where I could focus on the music. When I saw these were still in production (in production for 30+ years) I ordered another pair, when they came I couldn't find much difference between the new ones and the ones I had 30 years ago, when I put them on, their performance hadn't changed either. I got the clear, accurate, uncolored, detailed musical headphone experience that fascinated me as a kid. For listening to music even in somewhat noisy environments, these headphones are hard to beat!
