Powerful little box
Got this for our KX TG273csk (KX TGD590c) to extend third phone to building 100' away. After all the reviews I read, seemed it would work but reviews were somewhat mixed. Mounted it in building and plugged it in, then had wife press the locator button on the main base back in the house. Bingo, Worked like a charm! Second light changes from amber to green and back which tells me the unit is just at the verge of good reception. Building is 54' deep and 45' wide and when I walk around entire space I get clear reception with zero interference.
We tested phone range before purchasing range extender by walking to the building while talking on the phone and just outside the door of building everything was clear. When I went inside building it started to break up, so we figured that was where the extender would be at max distance and still work, and it did. Very happy to have such a simple fix.
